Focus Groups

http://chelseadevelopmentcoaltion.blogspot.com/Destination Chelsea

In conjunction with the city of Chelsea, DDA and community business owners, Chelsea Businesses are invited to participate with Hank Weber of Small Business Support Center on Destination Chelsea.

Hank will facilitate working on ways that we together can market Chelsea as a destination and how we can market to build business for Chelsea merchants. As part of the planning process we are conducting four focus groups to gather input and other impressions of the Chelsea business environment from Chelsea merchants and Chelsea organizations. Please plan to join us for one of these Focus Groups.

A Focus Group is basically a dynamic group interview of from 10 – 15 people who share common interests and or similar backgrounds. Focus Groups are used as a means to evaluate products and services and to develop new approaches.

A Focus Group follows a structured process, but uses very open ended interview questions to stimulate discussion by the members of the focus group as they evaluate services and or generate ideas.

In each of the four one hour long mini Focus Groups we are attempting to gather ideas, impressions, suggestions and approaches to better:
• Market Chelsea as a Destination
• Market to attract customers for Chelsea businesses

Please select one of these four Chelsea Stakeholder Focus Groups – one hour each. Due to the limited amount of seating per session this will be on a first come first serve basis. Email patjc59@comcast.net for your reservation.
